Asymmetrical Smile And Peg Laterals Correction

Murdoch had previously completed orthodontic treatment, but a rugby injury soon afterwards shifted his upper front teeth and left his smile noticeably uneven.

Ideally, further orthodontic treatment would have been the first choice, but Murdoch preferred not to have braces or aligners again. After discussing the compromises, we explored what could be achieved with composite bonding instead.

Following whitening, I used Smilefast composite bonding to reshape his peg lateral incisors, improve the tooth proportions and create a more balanced appearance despite the underlying asymmetry.

The result: a noticeably more balanced, natural-looking smile without another course of orthodontic treatment.
